Food lovers gather, bargain hunters hover, the smell of fresh bread and ripe fruit mingle…the farmers’ market is in town.

When our farmers’ markets visit the Surrey market towns of Milford, Haslemere and Godalming it’s your chance to meet the producers. Chat about sprats, ruminate about rhubarb or talk turkey.

Our knowledgeable stall holders can advise on the tastiest recipes for the freshest fish or what cuts are best to bbq.

“From freshly baked bread to handmade chocolates and cakes, from seasonal veg to locally brewed beer … there’s everything under the sun to tempt you and your taste buds. Meet the producers and try-before-you-buy at your friendly local markets.”

Established in 1999, we are a family of 50 producers who collectively make up the South West Surrey Farmers’ Market Co-Operative.  We are a not-for-profit organisation, who came together to bring the best of local and carefully sourced produce and goods to our local communities through our monthly Farmers’ Markets held in Milford, Godalming and Haslemere.

What is important to you is important to us

It’s good to know what you’re buying, so who better to speak to than the people that made it, grew it or baked it?

At our local markets you can buy quality produce straight from the people that make it.  You can talk to our friendly, knowledgeable stall holders and find out about the provenance of the goods you are buying and because there are no middle men you can trust that you are getting the best value for money.

We know that shopping isn’t necessarily everyone’s favourite past time, which is why we try to create an exciting, family friendly environment in which you can explore and be inspired by the wide variety of produce and goods that South West Surrey has to offer, all the while knowing that you are supporting your local, specialist businesses and community alike.

If you’re a local producer and interested in trading at our markets, we’d love to hear from you! To find out more about joining the Co-operative please click here.
